Will Fable 2 Live Up to the Hype?

Files under GamePosts | Leave a Comment

Fable, released in 2004, was Molyneux’s first role playing game (RPG) and his ambition going into the game was simple. "I want to make the best RPG ever," he said at the time. The game sold many millions of copies but Molyneux has admitted that the game did not match his ambitions. Fable is considered by many to be one of the best RPGs released on the original Xbox.

He and his team at Lionhead Studios are now working on a much-anticipated sequel. And this time his ambitions are no less far reaching. The question is will it become the legendary RPG originally perceived and finally reach the creative vision of Molyneux?

Capcom ready to announce “something like” Bionic Commando, Lost Planet for Wii?

Files under GamePosts | Leave a Comment

“Possible… The ‘or something like this’ part [Bionic Commando/Lost Planet] we could talk about in a couple weeks perhaps.” - Christian Svensson, Corporate Officer/Vice-President of Strategic Planning & Business Development of Capcom

All long job titles aside, I’m sure 99% of the hardcore gaming population knows which event will be taking place in a few weeks. Yep, E3. Capcom has supported the Wii very well by delivering Zack & Wiki, Resident Evil titles, and Okami. More support from the company would definitely aid third party support on the system. The comment from Mr. Svensson seems to hint at a new IP; however, this could be a spin off of Bionic Commando or Lost Planet.

X3F Shows Real Ultimate Power with NG2 Demo

Joystiq can think of a lot of great things to sell their souls for, such as telekinesis, a swimming pool full of hundred dollar bills, or a seventh season of Mr. Belvedere. However, Xbox 360 Fanboy’s Richard Mitchell recently showed his undying love for scarved ninjas by dealing with Beelzebub to get his hands on an early copy of the Ninja Gaiden II demo. Judging by the tone of his impressions as he plays the first seven minutes of the preview, it was totally worth it.
