Everybody knows that Final Fantasy VII was the best. Search your heart – you know this to be true. You can take your IVs and VIs and Xs and XIIs and have a big old Final Fantasy love-in, but it won’t change the incontrovertible fact that Cloud, Sephiroth, Aerith (or Aeris), Tifa, Vincent, Yuffie and Barret remain some of the best known and most beloved characters in gaming history. True.
