The launch of the v2.40 firmware update for the PlayStation 3 was one of, if not the, most important firmware updates thus far for Sony’s console. At a time when there is so much fierce competition in the gaming marketplace, no one can afford to make a wrong move.

Perhaps someone forgot to tell that to Sony.
