Activision has announced the release of a new downloadable content for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. The pack is called, “No Doubt Track Pack” for 500 Microsoft Points. It comes with “Don’t Speak”, “Excuse Me Mr”, and “Sunday Morning”. The track pack is currently offered only on Xbox Live Marketplace.

To celebrate Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero III fans will have the opportunity to download Aerosmith’s 1973 song “Dream On.” The song will be available for free from February 16-18 on Xbox Live MarketPlace and PS3.

Guitar Hero IV will be the fourth game in the guitar hero series. Its release date has not been announced, but it is speculated that Guitar Hero 4 will be released in late Spring 2008. Guitar Hero IV will be released for all leading platforms including Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii. Guitar Hero Aerosmith’s web site is now finished and running. Pre-orders are seemingly ready for a June 08 release.
