Activision confirmed that new downloadable multiplayer maps are on the way this spring for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The upcoming downloadable content will thrust gamers into a hot zone of added combat across a variety of intense multiplayer locales.

A sequel to THQ’s Saint’s Row 2 will be appearing on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 later this year. New vehicles will include boats, helicopters and planes.

This model will be available in Japan at March 6, for 39,800 yen (US $374). It is a 40GB version, which means it isn’t compatible with PS2 games like the 60GB and 80GB ones are. The console will come with one silver controller. This Dual Shock 3 wireless controller will also start to go on sale separately at about US $52 on the same launch day.
