Xbox 360 RPGs: Past, Present, and Future
The Original Xbox wasn’t exactly renowned for having a robust lineup of role playing games. There were some notable ones however: Jade Empire, the KOTOR series and Fable to name a few. With the advent of the Xbox 360 Microsoft has taken great strides to deliver some truly great RPG experiences on the platform. The Xbox 360 is home to not only the most Western style RPGs but is currently the console of choice for even the JRPG sect of RPGs.
One can’t deny that Microsoft has truly put forth a great initiative to diversify the Xbox 360′s catalogue of games to make it a great console of choice for the RPG enthusiast. This article is a synopsis of the RPGs that have been released on Xbox 360 as well as a look into the future of the genre on Microsoft’s platform.
